Why Children and Teens Should Get COVID-19 Vaccines?

 


Widespread vaccination for COVID-19 is a critical tool to best protect everyone from COVIID-19 and its related complications. The benefits of COVID-19 vaccination outweigh the unknown and intense safety monitoring program. The government is trying its best to fight this virus by administering vaccines to its people including the children and teens.

COVID-19 can make children very sick and cause them to be hospitalized. It may even lead to death by having complications from infection. Getting a COVID-19 vaccine can help protect children and teen from getting the virus. Through vaccination, children can help protect family members and can keep them from getting seriously sick. If they are vaccinated, it can help them keep in school and safely participate in any activities.

A child may have some side effects, but it is just normal signs that their body is building protection. Some have no side effects and severe allergic reactions are rare. These may make parents worry and decided not to give their children a shot but will only last for a day or few days. They must think for the best outcome and safety of their children.

Everyone is at risk for contracting the virus, and symptoms can be severe at any age. Therefore, we should get vaccinated in order to bring the pandemic to an end faster. It is safer for everybody if we have at least protection from covid-19.
